Yes. Accessible seating options are available:

• Aisle seating is reserved for patrons with access requirements. Simply speak with venue staff when you arrive.
• Accessible viewing platforms are located at the rear of the stalls. These provide clear sightlines and space for mobility devices and companions. For general admission, these seats are held (but not reserved) for patrons with accessibility needs.
• Stall seating is accessed via a pathway with a gradient of 1:5. Please note there are no tactile ground surface indicators before steps. Seats here are plastic flip-down chairs but you’re welcome to bring a cushion if preferred!

Accessible toilets are located at the rear of the Stalls and near Gate 1, behind the lawn. A Marveloo will be available for people with severe or physical disability and their carers.

The closest Changing Places facility is located on Level 3 of Hamer Hall.

Yes.

• Four permanent accessible car spaces are located at the public entrance to the Bowl. These are first-come, first-served and cannot be reserved.
• Wheelchair accessible parking is also available in the Arts Centre Melbourne car park (about 10 minutes from the Bowl).
• There is no formal drop-off zone but a small curb cut access point is available on Linlithgow Avenue near Gate 1 for quick drop-offs.

Travellers Aid provides companion or wheelchair assistance from Flinders Street Station*. Bookings must be made 72 hours in advance: call 1300 700 399.

Yes. Companions and carers are welcome and Companion Cards are accepted. As this is a free concert, no pre-booking is required for companion or carer attendance.

• Arts Centre Melbourne Front of House staff are available to guide patrons to Gate 1 or assist as needed.
• A golf buggy shuttle will run between Linlithgow Avenue and Gate 1 for patrons. This cannot be pre-booked; please ask staff in orange hi-vis vests upon arrival.
• Venue staff can act as spotters when navigating gradients or steps but cannot physically handle wheelchairs.
• MSO is proud to be part of the Hidden Disabilities Sunflower Program. Lanyards are available from the Box Office inside the venue.

• Auslan interpreters will be on stage and shown on the big screens.
• An assistive listening system is available at Gate 1 using FM headphones or neck loops. Just ask staff when you enter. You’ll need to leave an ID (e.g., driver’s licence) during the loan.

• Large screens will display close-ups of the stage.
• Seating arrangements can be adapted on request to better support patrons who are blind or have low vision. Speak with venue staff to assist.

Yes.

• A designated quiet/sensory pod will be available on-site near Gate 8 past the Spectator Overflow Area.
• Spectator Overflow Areas on the grass at the top of the entry ramps are available for those who find auditorium seating overwhelming.
• Concerts are also streamed live at Fed Square, on MSO’s YouTube channel, and broadcast on ABC Classic.

No, the concert will run straight through without an intermission. It will begin at 7:30 pm and run for approximately 90 minutes.

Yes. Guide dogs and service animals are welcome. Staff can help you find the most comfortable seating area for both you and your animal. Please bring your own water bowl.

Yes.

• Food trucks and the outdoor bar are located behind the seating area, connected by accessible hardstand paths.
• Vendors will step out of trucks to assist patrons with ordering and collecting food if required.

• You may bring a picnic, water, and medications. Please note:  No glass bottles (except wine bottles), large eskies, or sharp knives are permitted.
• Free water refill stations are available, bring a reusable (non-glass) empty bottle.
